Walking back into hospital is like a breath of fresh air. Fully kitted out with protective wear, access granted by Cape Town Mediclinic through their hand-free screening protocols and up to the ward where the lovely parents-to-be excitedly await my arrival. They’re even more excited about the arrival of their baby!

To everyone’s delight, she dives bravely into this world via c-section.
